French Onion Soup
Cooking and food has always been a very important part of my life. Growing up in Sweden, I was already at age 4 in the kitchen with my mother and grandmother, always curious and constantly asking questions. During my entire childhood I was allowed to cook and make my own experiments. My grandmother gave me some real cooking pots (not toys) that I actually still use. Working in mens fashion for 15+ years, traveling all over the world, I finally moved to New York in 2001 to join my partner and love in his Interior Business. All this combined is where I am today, though I always tend to come back to my Scandinavian roots in my love and passion for cooking.
My cooking is clean, simple and simply delicious. Not a lot of fancy ingredients, but I always try to make food with my golden edge, presented in a beautiful way every day. It’s food with a soul that we like and eat daily. For inspiration I read and watch food related books and tv programs. My role model and favorite chef is without question Jacques Pepin.
Teach me Tonight, is where I give tips based on my owxperiences to elevate the cooking a step or two. Sometimes it easy and basic recepies thats‘s the foundation in my cooking. Will return for Season three later this year. Stay tuned
